I was browsing on Foliotwist and I came across an amazing artist, his name is Mehran. He captivates the viewer by beautiful color and his Impressionistic style. The Provence Orchard is my favorite and it reminds me so much of Monet's art. Mehran is a gifted artist and a great Impressionist.

Libya's displaced people

This is some info I got off of Libya SOS, they write really good articles on Libya. Libyan people are suffering from the aftermath of the unjust war and our hearts should go out to them. They are suffering from a lack of water and food because the NTC shut off the water in a lot of places. Libya's displaced people from Tawhorgha are in need of food, cloths and housing, they are living in tents and 4 children died of frost last night. Finished Canal Skaters

This weekend I finished Canal Skaters. This piece shows the canal on a bright winter's day, with lots of skaters on it. It's a close up view of the canal and shows the people having fun on the canal. I hope I go skating this year on the canal and maybe I will bring my camera a long. I will be posting this piece and another I did called Canal Evening Skaters. I love painting the Canal because it brings back memories of a time gone by.
